Nordic Style and Outdoor Spirit – Yes, and That Famous “Fox Logo”
Carrying Comfort
Fjällräven has been producing high-quality hiking and outdoor products for over 50 years and is now best known for its clothing and tents suited for mountain trekking. Fjällräven started in Northern Sweden in the 1950s when Åke Nordin began developing a more comfortable backpack for his treks. The product was evidently successful, as many other hikers also wanted one for themselves.
Textile Functionality
Since then, Fjällräven has grown into a major manufacturer among outdoor enthusiasts. A top favorite is the Kånken backpack, which has been produced since 1978. Fjällräven is also known for its G-1000 cotton-polyester fabric, which is durable, wind-resistant, highly breathable, and dries even faster than some synthetic materials. G-1000 pants, jackets, and anoraks have been used not only for year-round hiking but also in everyday urban life.
Other Favorites
The highly popular Kajka backpacks, Abisko Lite, Abisko Shape, and Abisko Endurance tents, as well as the extremely sturdy Keb Endurance tents suitable for year-round use, continue to gather new satisfied users. On the clothing side, the rugged Vidda Pro pants, the Keb Jacket, and the cheerful Vardag anorak have found a solid following.
And the fox in the logo? That’s no ordinary fox, that’s the arctic fox.
