As with base layers, Merino wool is an excellent mid-layer material: it insulates, works well even when damp, and resists odours. The material is brushed soft on tthe inside, making for great comfort even if worn with short base layer pants. The correct choice for sports, hiking and other hobbies in cold environments.

Take good care of your Merino apparel - regular detergents are a bit over the top for use with wool, so we recommend using Nikwax Wool Wash, regardless of whether you wash your apparel in a machine or by hand.
