Out of the factory, these Black Ice touring skates come with general-purpose bindings, but in this package, we have mounted Salomon Prolink Access Skate bindings for ski boot use. The universal bindings are also included in the package. The price includes the mounting work price of 10 euros.
The main image shows one skate with the original binding and one skate with the Salomon binding. When buying this product, you get both skates with the Salomon binding, ready to skate.
Longer blades provide a more stable feel, while shorter ones are more agile. The 46 cm blade’s adjustable size range accommodates shoe sizes approximately 36–45, and the 52 cm blade fits sizes 38–47.
Regarding ski boots, use NNN-compatible skate boots - classic boots lack the required ankle support. Suitable winter boots for use with these skates are generally similar to hiking boots—relatively sturdy.
Always bring ice picks when skating on natural ice!
