A compact and light wood stove. The grumpier version.

This product cannot be shipped to the U.S.A. or Canada Looks don’t deceive: this stove is ready for some serious action. This is the big (bad) brother of the Happy Stove and Grumpy Stove, with two more centimeters of space in the fire place. Such a small difference on paper makes for a real difference in use, as this is by far the most effortless of the three in use. A wood stove is a clever choice for hiking. All you carry is the stove and a pot - you simply gather its fuel from your surroundings. Thanks to the hinge-free structure the stove is light despite its durable stainless steel material. Storage bag included (made of Cordura 1000D with polyurethane coating) Weight: 495 grams Overall dimensions: 14cm x 14cm x 14cm Dimensions of fire space: 12cm x 12cm x 9.5 cm or 12 x 12 x 12 cm without cross beams Two year guarantee When using this stove, like any wood burning stove, consider fire safety with great care. Safety-wise, the best base for the use of this stove is a flat surface of rock. The small embers from the stove won’t harm the rock (unlike a camp fire would), and it’s easy to keep the embers from spreading fire. Here’s a tip from the manufacturer: to maximize burn time, saw and split a piece of wood so that its four parts nearly fill the stove. Check local restrictions before using a wood stove. In Finland, the rules changed in Spring 2020, and now wood stoves are forbidden when forest fire or brush fire alerts are applied. Also, when intending to use the wood stove outside of official fire places, you need permission from the land owner.
