Skiing jackets

Skiing jackets are made in two main styles: padded and shells. Padded jackets have integrated padding and tend to be on the heavy side. Shell jackets again are more versatile but require more underlying clothing layers for warmth. Shell jackets are common in more active skiing endeavors while padded examples work well in regular piste use.
