It seems that each year lighter and lighter tents appear on the market. The Superalloy 2P is a good example: at just a bit over one kilogram, and still with two awnings and doors this is a very light weight two person tent. The floor plan is 221 cm long, 107 / 127 cm wide and 99 cm high at its peak.
As long as you’re aware of the limitations of such light weight tents, this tent will be a great joy to travel with. And the limitations are, I hear you ask. Well, don’t take it to a storm with high winds, and don’t trust it to bear any snow load. Also, be even more careful than usual in terms of sharp objects in and around the tent.
