Hilleberg Allak - A marvelous, light and freestanding dome tent for two. Made of Hilleberg’s light Kerlon 1200 fabric and with 9mm poles, this tent is much lighter than the most “bombproof” versions available, yet still remarkably strong. With its low weight, great space, and sturdy structure, the Allak is a true all-rounder. The Allak is, in practice, an ultra-light version of the Staika tent. With three poles crossing at three points, the structure is capable of handling bad weather. Hilleberg reports that as their test crew was uncertain about which tent to choose for a certain trip, the Allak was the chosen one… As with all two-layer Hilleberg tents, the inner tent is automatically pitched with the fly, making it possible to pitch the tent without getting rain in the inner tent. If you wish to pack the inner and outer tents separately, it is also possible to detach them. Extremely easy to pitch. Spacious and weatherproof construction. Two doors, each with a roomy vestibule. 3 tent poles make the tent a spacious, easily pitched tent that can stand up to even the harshest conditions. Excellent cross-ventilation through vents above the doors.
